Welcome!

I am Dr Denise Love and I have been an educator for the past 37 years in both elementary schools and higher education. I began my career in the early grades - Kindergarten and First Grade. Soon, they incorporated Pre-Kindergarten into our program and I began teaching that as well. The last ten years of my career was in a multiage classroom where I taught Kindergarten, First, and Second grades and absolutely loved it! I have my bachelors degree in elementary education from the University of Michigan, my masters degree in reading literacy from the University of Michigan, and my doctorate in Education: Teaching and Learning (K-12) from Capella University. I have a strong passion for education and do not see myself getting out of education. I hope to inspire future teachers to be the best educators they can be and that means that they are there for the children. Early Childhood is near and dear to my heart - I love working with little ones. They are so eager to learn and take it all in.
