Denise,
ReplyDeleteThat was such a powerful and straight forward clip. I watched it 3 times and loved how the band on the hand had ECE on it :)

Denise,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the video clips especially Early Childhood Educators planting the Seeds of the Future…it is an analogy we have used often. I have never read Children at the center: Implementing the multiage classroom; but I can see the benefits. In working with young children we in fact address various developmental levels within the same age group. It would depend on cooperative learning…younger students learning from more advanced students thus greatly impacting achievement. Children are motivated to learn from their peers. It would also allow for older or more advanced students to develop leadership and support skills as well.
Great resources and wonderful resources. There are so many different developmental levels that we do have to deal with just within one classroom. I agree that children learn just as good if not better from their friends and other children in the class. I like sitting back and see what the children teach each other just when they are playing like school or house. Their personalities stand out when we give the children the chance.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing. I enjoyed watching the video's ecspecially the first one, "Early Childhood Educators planting the Seeds of the Future." I will definitely have to show the other staff members at work.
ReplyDeleteHi Denise, The video clips are excellent ones, with a moral behind them. I enjoyed both.
